Maurice Snell ,who has ASD and works for Easterseals, is also a Warrior for Energy Efficiency

Maurice Snell is our Easterseals serving Chicagoland and Greater Rockford Development & Human Resources Coordinator who also has an autism spectrum disorder. On top of being an incredible staff member, Maurice is a warrior for energy efficiency and the environment. Here is an update on his work!

I bet you all are wondering what I’m up to lately. I have to say, 2021 is off to a good start, as I have a lot to accomplish in the New Year. However, I have accomplished one thing already in 2021. I’m celebrating 10 years being the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program ambassador!

In the past nine years, I have proudly and greatly represented Easterseals as the ambassador. By being ambassador for ComEd, I develop many of my talents through my services within and outside of the organization with the same purpose, creating a better world through energy efficiency. For those who may forget to turn off the lights when leaving the room, or what kind of light bulb they should use, I, along with many of my fellow ambassadors step in to deliver useful information. Our objective is simple, to make this world a better place through saving energy.

I am grateful to have represented Easterseals through the services of ComEd for these past few years—and heading into my tenth year. I truly would like to thank my wonderful colleagues from ComEd for allowing me the opportunity to share my wisdom with others. I look forward to continuing to share my knowledge with many others in the future!

Want to help our planet by being more energy efficient? Anyone can learn more about the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program via the ComEd website.
